The results of the contest "Leader of energy efficiency of the Republic of Belarus-2020" were summed up on November 10 in Minsk as part of an online ceremony
Honorary guests – representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Department of Energy Efficiency, the organizers of the competition, members of the supervisory and expert councils, etc. – took part in the awarding of winners with diplomas and commemorative badges.
For the first time in the history of the contest, the highest award – Grand Prix was given to RUE Production Association “Belorusneft”.
Briefly about the importance and prospects of “green” energy reported Deputy Director of the Department of Energy Efficiency State Standard of the Republic of Belarus, Chairman of the organizing committee of the contest Leonid Poleshchuk:
– Green energy is the predictable future of the Republic of Belarus and the Department of Energy Efficiency supports and develops this area. Launching the Belarusian NPP is one more step to eliminate dependence on fossil fuels. Implementation of this project requires substantial investments, including those aimed at developing the energy infrastructure in the country. It is not surprising that this year the honorary diploma of the winner and the sign of the contest “Leader of energy efficiency of the Republic of Belarus-2020” was awarded to RUE “Production association “Belorusneft” for the network of charging stations under the Malanka brand.
The energy and economic importance of the project was underlined by Andrey Molochko, Chairman of the Expert Council, Head of the Department of General Energy of RUE “BelTEI”:
– The development of electric transport in the Republic of Belarus is one of the priority directions. Nevertheless, it is impossible to implement it without a network of charging stations. Ecological electric charging of Malanka allows recharging the electric car in a few minutes. Hopefully, by 2025, this network will be widely distributed throughout the country.
